Vespers
Overview
Hear the sacred works of J.S. Bach and his contemporaries performed by the Bach Roots Festival Chamber Choir and Chamber Orchestra within the original context of a worship service complete with congregational hymn singing and liturgy. All are welcome at this annual event that explores how Bach interwove his passions for music and theology.

Pop-Up Choir
Are you a choral singer? If so, join us for our Vespers pop-up choir with special guest David Cherwien. Mr. Cherwien and Artistic Director, Matthew Olson, will lead singers in hymn arrangements alongside Bach Roots Festival singers. Cost is $25 - the price of a concert ticket plus sheet music.
5:00 - 6:15pm Rehearsal
6:15 - 7:20pm Dinner break (you are welcome to bring a picnic or bag dinner)
7:30 - 8:45pm Vespers Service
