Hear the sacred works of J.S. Bach and his contemporaries performed by the Bach Roots Festival Chamber Choir and Chamber Orchestra within the original context of a worship service. Nationally acclaimed organist and composer David Cherwien shares Baroque organ works, and also leads the congregation in hymnody and liturgy. Interested singers will have the opportunity to join a Pop-Up choir to sing a few of Mr. Cherwien's beloved hymn arrangements with the composer himself.
All are welcome at this annual event to experience how Bach interwove his passions for music and theology.
