Music education was at the heart of much of Bach's work, especially during his many years in Leipzig where his weekdays were spent teaching music lessons, leading youth ensembles, and even instructing theology.

Bach Roots Festival continually expands our own educational programs. We strive to honor and engage with our community through annual collaborations with high school youth, a family concert series for little people, a homebound senior outreach, and our national Emerging Artist Program for singers whose socio-cultural backgrounds have been historically excluded in Baroque music.
