MasterworkS

Overview

Bach & Handel were both just 22 years old when they each wrote mini-masterpieces. Handel's Dixit Dominus & Bach's Cantata 4 reveal some of the composer's most beautiful and audacious writing.

Bach Roots Festival's Emerging Artists and their mentors serve as featured soloists with the festival choir and orchestra. The performing forces are joined by the trailblazing youth choir, Vocalessence Singers Of This Age (VESOTA) and their conductor, Phillip Shoultz, for short works by Mendelssohn, Caldara, and Bach.
